The last day of Sunday school is May 18th and the kids will be singing in church.

There will be an upcoming fundraiser for the Youth Mission Trip including the sale of plants, brats, hot dogs, etc.

All teachers, with the exception of possibly one, will be returning next year.

Evangelism

Judy Urban’s workshop went very well.  Forty people attended, thirty filled out evaluation forms,

Twenty-three of thirty said the workshop was excellent.  Fourteen in attendance were from our church, with

eleven different churches being represented in all.

Judy would like to reserve 9/27 to do a follow-up workshop and will need a check for $150 to reserve this date.  The total expense for the workshop was $955.08.  Brenda paid $70 of her money for the room

because Judy and her husband had to come early due to weather.

Brian feels we need to continue with this.  There was a lot of positive feedback and it was

extremely informative.

The suggestion was made to bring Judy back in September, then have a time at the end to see if others are willing to “unite” to work on issues.  It is felt that the cost of the workshop should be

divided more equally, or does someone else want to host the workshop?

A motion was made by Tim to put a deposit of $150 down on the date in September with the stipulation to have the cost shared equally with churches in attendance.  Brian seconded the

motion.  Motion Carried.

On June 1st, the council is asked to attend the New Members’ Class.

Brenda did a FABULOUS job with the workshop!  Thank you Brenda!
